This was by far the greatest experience I've ever had with any kind of doctor. Dr. Coffman is the nicest guy I've ever met and truly passionate about what he does. He made me feel comfortable and at home and was just an all around great guy. Their staff was fun to talk with and very helpful in picking out the best glasses for me. Personnel were friendly and explained everything in simple terms and listened to me. They even gave the option of not dilating my eyes with another option, explaining that my insurance doesn't cover it and it would be an extra charge. I felt well informed all the way through the visit.read more

For starters, the office staff is friendly, welcoming and efficient, helping create a relaxed atmosphere. The pre-exam was thorough and informative, as was the follow up exam by Dr. Coffman. Everyone was very personable and knowledgeable. Communication was GREAT! Highly recommend!read more

I visited the clinic a couple of days ago for my annual eye exam. All staff I interacted with were so friendly and helpful. I had excellent help from Jess picking out new glasses. She gave me honest opinions and was so great at explaining everything in detail. She left no question unanswered. Also, Dr. Coffman was so friendly, positive, upbeat and kind. He made me feel so comfortable and was very thorough. I know I’m in good hands here, and am glad I discovered this excellent clinic because I want to know that I can trust the care I’m receiving for years to come. Thank you guys!read more

After experiencing a change in my vision I FINALLY made an appointment. Coffman Vision was recommended by a trusted friend, and did not disappoint!! The staff is excellent. The doctor, Melissa Prickett, was just awesome. She gave me an honest and clear diagnosis. She was very open and easy to talk to. I will definitely be returning for future follow ups with her. The gal who helped me pick my first pair of glasses was great! I needed an honest opinion from someone with experience and I got just that. She wasn’t trying to “sell” me... just gave me the facts on my choices and helped me make a perfect first eye glass purchase! Honestly I just felt welcomed and am glad I listened to my gal pal and chose this clinic for my care!read more

I’ve had an appointment here twice now and have been called back within minutes of my arrival both times (versus another office in town that I went to that called me back 45 minutes late both times!). In addition to that, Dr Guiley is fantastic. I felt that he was very thorough and very kind throughout my exam. And they’re open for a half days on Saturday’s which is very helpful! I highly recommend this office :)read more

I called to set up my first apt. at Coffman vision clinic today; since I had recently moved to the area, I needed a new doctor. They were very friendly, and it was super easy to set up an apt. I had been hoping to get in ASAP because I had just realized I was out of contacts! (Gasp) Although, they were booked out for a couple weeks, they still offered to give me some sample contacts I could wear until then. They also didn’t even charge me for them! I felt like the customer service deserved a 5 star review, so here we are!read more

I have been going to Coffman Vision for my annual eye exams for over 15 years. I have always had a positive experience with their desk staff, Medical Assistant’s and knowledgeable Optometrist’s. The Optimap is a great inside look at my eye health each year. I enjoy how thorough the staff is in evaluating my eye health, determining my current prescription, reviewing the information with me and keeping me informed. My appointments stay on time and the eyecare staff is always very helpful to get the best contacts for me and rebates for an annual supply, whenever available. I highly recommend Coffman Vision as an excellent Optometrist choice for you in Central Oregon!read more

The staff is very efficient and professional. They have the latest equipment and seem genuinely interested in their patients. Dr. Erin really took time to clearly explain to me why I've been labeled a glaucoma "suspect" for the last 20 years and to recommend an eyelid cleansing routine to help improve the dry and scratchy eyes I was having every morning.read more

Really happy with them! The whole office is super attentive and considerate. The anxiety I normally feel at doctor’s offices, I don’t feel here.I’m naturally curious about everything so I ask a lot of questions. Luckily, everyone there is happy to educate you on whatever wonders you may have, which I really appreciate.I originally chose Coffman because of the office’s proximity to my house but because of the quality of the care I now will be recommending them to everyone I know. They got me in fairly soon after I called to get an appointment made, it was during the snow storm. Everyone here is very friendly, take time to go through all options. The process is very streamlined and efficient. I got my glasses within a week. Erin, is very helpful and detailed. She really took the time to help and explain my eye condition. Their knowledge of the insurance arena was more than helpful. They saved me almost half of what I had paid for my previous glasses because of the discounts they applied. I absolutely love all the doctors. I recently had Dr. Guiley and he was so attentive. Allyson is A tech and she is always there when I need her. Kim was new to me and she answered all my questions. I have been a client for five years and I have always been taken Care of professionly and punctual. I highly recommend anyone at this office. They have contests throughout the year and I actually won a pair of prescription sun glasses. They are willing to deal with whatever challenges I give them and I love them for that. I was looking for a prescription renewal for my contacts and made an appointment with 1) a provider that listed under my insurance and 2) in a convenient location. . .but got so much more. Dr. Coffman exceeded my expectations and raised the bar of eye care to a whole new level. His passion and enthusiasm about the health of his client's eyes is very transparent in his kind and down to earth, but very detailed explanations of eye care. Dr. Coffman is one of the few doctors I have met who has been this excited about about his field of study. Just a few things that Dr. Coffman educated me about was how vision changes throughout the years, how contacts affect eye health and even how the oils ducts in the eyelids affect vision. Who knew? If I could add an extra star to my experience with Dr. Coffman, I would!read more

Following cataract surgery, Dr Coffman tested my eyes and prescribed for me based on the status of my eyes at that time. However I experienced significant additional changes over the following weeks. I checked back in with Dr Coffman and since the changes had occurred within the first 60 days and were enough to actually need additional correction Dr Coffman ordered replacement glasses at no charge. I have been treated fairly, honestly and with great respect. I will return to the clinic with no hesitation and I recommend them highly.read more
