Acuvue

Vistakon, a Johnson & Johnson Vision subsidiary, is the pioneering company behind the Acuvue brand of contact lenses. Acuvue lenses were first introduced in 1987 following Vistakon’s investment in advanced production technology called Stabilized Soft Molding (SSM), which allowed scalable manufacturing of soft contact lenses. The brand quickly became a leader in the U.S. market, initially offering a seven-day extended wear lens and later expanding to daily wear and various replacement schedules, including the popular 1-Day Acuvue daily disposable lenses. Vistakon’s manufacturing is primarily based in the United States, with one facility in Limerick, Ireland.

Acuvue lenses are known for their comfort, convenience, and eye health benefits. For example, the 1-Day Acuvue DEFINE lenses incorporate LACREON technology, which embeds a moisture cushion to provide all-day comfort, and offer UV protection blocking 81% of UVA and 97% of UVB rays. These lenses come in multiple styles to enhance the natural appearance of the eyes and are available in packs of 30 or 90 daily disposable lenses, promoting hygiene and ease of use. The lenses are made from etafilcon A material with a water content of 58%, and are designed for daily wear with a focus on both vision correction and cosmetic enhancement. Johnson & Johnson Vision continues to support eye care professionals with resources and innovative products across all stages of eye health, including myopia management and advanced lens options.

Digital devices and challenging environments like cold air conditioning or dusty, dry air can cause discomfort and irritation. ACUVUE OASYS® Brand Contact Lenses with HYDRACLEAR® PLUS Technology are inspired by the way your tear film works to help maintain a stable tear film to provide exception comfort in challenging environments.

These bi-weekly contact lenses are available with correction for near and farsighted prescriptions. 90 days Bi-weekly contact lenses available 12 or 24 lenses per box.
